TAE40110 CERTIFICATE IV IN TRAINING & ASSESSMENT
nationally recognised training
Aim The aim of this program is to qualify participants such that they can perform the role of trainer and/or assessor within the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF).
Duration 10 days of face to face with an additional 4 days of self-paced learning.

RPL will reduce the time required. The amount of RPL will be determined during an interview with an assessor.

Units of Competence Three electives are required, those selected for the standard Group 314 program are indicated below. Others can be used to meet personal or organisational requirements. One unit may also be replaced by an industry specific unit that is of a similar AQF level, be relevant to the work outcomes and support industry requirements.

Pre-requisites Participants must have access to an operational training environment as well as a computer, internet connection, email and programs for generating documentation / presentations.
Learning There are flexible learning opportunities available, learning methods can include:

Assessment Participants are required to provide adequate evidence of competency; this must include the completion of all assessment tasks as detailed in the assessment tool (or by providing equivalent evidence).
Max Course Size This program is normally conducted for individuals with an allocated facilitator.
Supervision Ratio 1:1 (distance) or 1:10 (classroom)
Safety The inherant risks associated with this program are low, where the program is conducted within a class-room environment, facilitators are to ensure site emergency procedures are known by all participants. Where training & assessment tasks are completed within the workplace, associated risks are to be managed by site controllers and employers.
